Sharon Kay Taylor

SHARON KAY TAYLOR, age 79, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Court House Manor.

She was born on October 18, 1946 in Fayette County to the late Donald Earl and Dorothy Mae (Rowe) Walters. She attended Washington High School. Sharon retired from Court House Manor after thirty years, where she worked as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat with her friends, and was also an avid reader.

Survivors include her friend and caretaker, Audra Althouse; her best friend, Janet Darling; and cousins, Phylis (Jim) Anderson, and Dixie Tipton.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating.
