Sherry Lynn Hilderbrand

SHERRY LYNN HILDERBRAND, age 63, of Greenfield, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 8:38 p.m. at her home.

She was born on February 26, 1958 in Fayette County to Robert Everett and Wanda Lou (West) Hunter. She was a 1976 graduate of Washington High School. Sherry was a homemaker and babysat for many children over the years. She and her husband, Rod, attended the Greenfield Church of Christ in Christian Union. Sherry was a loving and devoted wife, aunt, sister, and friend. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking and baking, going to church, and being with her family.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Roberta Sue Hilderbrand.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Lee “Rod” Hilderbrand, whom she married on August 31, 2001; brother, Robert “Doc” Hunter and his fiancé, Mel Locey; nieces, Lynn Hilderbrand, Miranda Douglas, Catie (Corey) Huffman, Jessie (Adam) Baldwin, Jaylyn Douglas, Reece Huffman, and Claire Baldwin; and nephew, Baby Boy Baldwin arriving in July. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Joy Stanforth officiating with burial to follow at the Sugar Creek Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
