Shirley Ann Storer Obituary

SHIRLEY ANN STORER, age 84, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 while surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on April 30, 1941 in Fayette County to the late William and Francis (Crabtree) Landenburg. She attended Jeffersonville High School. Shirley was a homemaker and stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed thrifting, going to yard sales, and her family described her as a “social butterfly” who never knew a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Vernon Storer, Sr., whom she married on July 11, 1972; and brothers, Raymond Landenburg, and William David Landenburg.

Survivors include her children, Roger V., Jr. (Amy) Storer, and Krystal R. (Todd) Jackson; grandchildren, Roger V. Brown-Storer, Lilith P. Storer, Tabitha R. Anderson, Kathryn N. Berryhill and her fiancé, Cole, and Steven R. (Alycia) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ellianna, Evalyn, and Ensley Anderson; and sisters, Loraine Newman, and Linda Newman. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery in Adams County. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
