Tammy Jo Martindale

TAMMY JO MARTINDALE, age 61, of Bloomingburg, passed away at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born on January 9, 1964, in Springfield, Ohio and was the daughter of Richard Rice and the late Vicky Faye Barnes. On August 14, 1998, she married Tony J. Martindale, who survives.

Tammy was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and had worked as a Security Guard at DHL in Wilmington. She enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach with her husband and family friends, going to auctions to look for antiques and collecting coins. Tammy also liked Ford Mustangs, cooking and loved taking care of her cats.

In addition to her loving husband of twenty-six years, Tammy is survived by her children, Amanda (Jeremy) Crosswhite, Samantha (Joshua) Lilley and Amy Bailey; her stepchildren, Zachary Martindale and Joanna (David) Garza. Also surviving are her five grandchildren; her father, Richard Rice; siblings, Scott Rice and Marsha Rice and her cousin and friend Cindy Howell and her husband Chuck of Grove City along with a host of many other friends.

In keeping with Tammy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no viewing or services will be held at this time.
