He was born on January 3, 1954 in Circleville, Ohio to the late Lee and Helen (Russell) Adams. He attended Washington High School. Terry owned and operated Tri County Construction for over twenty-five years; he was an exceptional contractor who built houses and pole barns and did roofing and siding. Most of his work was shared through word of mouth; he did a lot of jobs in the Fayette County area. Terry had several nicknames including Gump, Fast Eddie, Roland, and Wally. He was known as Wally by his longtime friend, Brian Michael and Roland, by his longtime friend, Dave Petitt. Terry never met a stranger. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed hunting.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Ashlee Lynn Adams; grandparents, Floyd and Mabel Russell; siblings, Leann Adams, and Rick Adams; and half-brother, Leroy Adams.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jo Lynn (McCoy) Adams, whom he married on February 7, 1976; aunts, Beverly Arnett, and Dora Burris; brother-in-law, Mike McCoy; sister-in-law, Sue Ann (Randy) Creamer; and nieces, Leah, Laurren, and Larra Potts. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Adena Hospice, nurse, Jamee, and nursing assistant, Landry. Also, a special thank you to family friend, Jim Pavey for all of his help during this difficult time.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
