Tony A. Lindsey

TONY A. LINDSEY, age 57, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on December 19, 1966 in Fayette County to the late James Melvin, Jr. and Donna June (Tolle) Lindsey. He attended Miami Trace High School. Tony worked at Midland Acres, Inc. in Bloomingburg, and assisted Jeff Smith at the Fayette County Fairgrounds. He loved spending time with his dog, Squirrel.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Leisure, and stepbrother, Ron Leisure.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lindsey; stepson, Jeremy Liggett; brothers, James Lindsey, and Mark Lindsey; and stepbrother, Rick Leisure. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 1-2:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
