Travis Dale Redman

TRAVIS DALE REDMAN, age 56, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on August 1, 1969 in Washington CH to the late Lawrence and Alice (Self) Redman. He was a 1987 graduate of Washington High School. Travis was a self-employed general contractor. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State football fan.

In addition to his parents, Travis was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Thomas Sharp.

Survivors include his wife, Katheryn Grace (Sharp) Redman, whom he married on September 17, 2011; his sons, Dallas Redman, and Austin Redman; siblings, Larry Redman, and Timothy (Rita) Redman; brothers-in-law, Tom (Gina) Sharp, Russ (Regina) Sharp, and Jahn (Susan) Sharp; sister-in-law, Dawn (Aaron) Knopp; mother-in-law, Helen Sharp; and special friend, Maura Cockerill and her son, Mylez. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
