WILLIAM C. “BILL” BEEKMAN, age 84, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at his home.
He was born on May 24, 1941 in Fayette County to the late Glenn and Dorothy Ethel (Harrah) Beekman. He was a graduate of Latham High School. Bill was a general foreman for the Lone Star Steel Company and a correctional officer at the Warren Correctional Institution (WCI) in Lebanon, Ohio. He attended the Heritage Memorial Church until his health would no longer allow. He enjoyed woodworking, crafting, taking long rides, gardening, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharilyn Kay (Brown) Beekman, and several siblings.
Survivors include his children, Debra (Rick) Binegar, Rhonda (Steve) Potts, Danny (Karla) Beekman, Sharon Beekman, and Cheryl (Wade) Braun; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, along with a host of friends.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
