William V. "Bill" Woodrow

WILLIAM V. “BILL” WOODROW, age 88, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Court House Manor.

He was born on January 21, 1936 in Fayette County to the late Sherman and Edith (Conn) Woodrow. He attended New Holland School. Bill retired from Cummins Sales and Service in Hilliard, Ohio where he worked as a service advisor. He enjoyed golfing, sitting on his front porch visiting with neighbors, joining his coffee group every afternoon at Burger King, and was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, David Woodrow, along with several siblings.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Avonelle (Pollard) Woodrow; children, Greg Woodrow, Mark Woodrow, and Nell Woodrow; and granddaughter, Stephanie Cale. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal services will be held at this time.
